Louisville Kentucky is usually renowned for Bourbon, horse racing, and hillbillies. Well I'm no barefoot teenage bride, but I think Louisville should be recognized as a mecca of amazing eats, a veritable undiscovered treasure trove of quirky cafes, upper cut echelon and everything in between.

Louisville restaurant offers discount for leaving your phone at the door

Dish on Market is offering a five percent discount to restaurant patrons who leave their phone with the host at the door.

The incentive encourages diners to enjoy their food, the ambience, and their overall dining experience, the restaurant owners said. They got the idea when they saw a group of diners play a game in which everyone turned their phone face down, and the first one to pick up their phone picked up the tab.
