Epicurious Louisville

Louisville Kentucky is a treasure trove of amazing eats. I blog about them here. Y'all pull up a chair and sit awhile.

Oishii Sushi is certainly my favorite Japanese place in the city. And not just because of the sushi, though it’s huge and carnival colored and affordable for the amount of food you get. Everything I’ve tried at Oishii, from the fried calamari, to the gorgeous shot glasses of uzura (raw quail egg with some sauces and whatnot, don’t knock it till you’ve tried it, it’s sweet and creamy and amazing, you take it like a shot and the flavors comes together in your mouth. SO GOOD) to the miso soup. I also LOVE their salad with ginger dressing.

I’ve been going to Oishii for…oh, five years now? We’ve had countless dates there. It feels a lot like our place. I love that they’re doing well. I love that they’re in a bigger building. I love that people are discovering them.

Everyone go to Oishii!
